SWISS URBAN DANCE BATTLE – SWISS MADE FESTIVAL CRANS MONTANA
Battle as in match, combat - the vocabulary is almost military to define this urban dance competition.
Following the success of the Zurich and Geneva urban dance "Battles", Flux Laboratory will present on August 14th 8 hip-hop artists who will perform during the Crans Montana Swiss Made Festival.
Two groups of 4 dancers will be teamed up randomly. After 30 minutes of preparation, they will compete on DJ Fabregue’s tempo, under the encouragements of the public. Their best moves will have to be revealed to seduce the public, who will have to decide which team’s efforts have the upper hand.
Integrating technique and creativity, improvisation and aerobatics, the challenge is set, much as survival on the streets, the birthplace of this dance movement born in the United States.
