Initiated during her project « Dans de draps », a choreographic installation created in February 2007 for the Villa Bernasconi and presented at La Comédie, Caroline de Cornière wishes to open this performance to EVERYONE, all gender, dancers or not.
Rituel I invites women and men of all ages to come and "lie down" on a mattress covering the floor, leaving their body imprints through a serie of 3 individual positions.
A transmission ritual and a moment of sharing where women and men imprint together in their corporal presence during a collective and ritualized artistic performance.
