On the occasion of the exhibition Re/member your House at the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, Afro-Greek dancers Chocolate Muffin (Mikel Ergar) & Kofi (Kofi Yiadom) organize the dance battle "The Art of Now" at Flux Laboratory, aspiring to come in contact with the urban community of artists that build a bridge between contemporary art and the underground hip-hop dance scene.

Featuring local dancers in Geneva, and having as a guest judge Cartoon, the evening will be set to the rhythm of a DJ Namu Serpentard Chocolate Muffin (Mikel Ergar) and Kofi (Kofi Yiadom) are both artists and dancers who are protagonists of the collective community project the AfroGreeks by Døcumatism. They are dynamic individuals with a shared love for hip-hop and dance who claim their right to express themselves as artists outside of Greece.

A collaborative and participatory project dedicated to Afro-descendant diasporas in Greece, the AfroGreeks was launched in 2015 and includes a large number of videos, interviews, social interactions, research and events. The presentation of the AfroGreeks at the Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève is accompanied by a program of events: concerts, workshops, open discussions and guided tours. The project at the Centre is curated by Grace Chimela Eze Nwoke. A Greek anthropologist and performer of Nigerian origin, Nwoke is a member of the Døcumatism team.
