"Our world is overwhelmed with senseless images. News reflect a fast-moving instantaneity. The inexhaustible source of information provides me with themes: a word, an expression, an occurrence, a character. Words Into Pictures illustrates topical matters in a voluntarily minimalistic aesthetic and questions their inanity, their cruelty, their poetry, their irony, their lightness, their humanity. Colours, shapes and ideas incite a visual and intellectual reflection. This reflection will allow you to decipher the various meanings of those illustrations and to approach current matters from a different angle."

"Unsere Welt ist überflutet von sinnlosen Bildern. Nachrichten widerspiegeln die schnelllebige Augenblicklichkeit. In diesen unerschöpflichen Informationsquellen finde ich eine Zusammengehörigkeit: ein Wort, ein Ausdruck, ein Ereignis, ein Zeichen.
Words Into Pictures illustriert aktuelle Themen in einer absichtlich minimalistischen Ästhetik und hinterfragt dabei deren Absurdität, Grausamkeit, Poesie, Ironie, Leichtigkeit wie auch Menschlichkeit.
Farben, Formen und Ideen regen zur visuellen und intellektuellen Reflexion an. Diese soll dem Betrachter ermöglichen die mehrheitliche Bedeutung einer Illustration zu entschlüsseln sowie aktuelle Fragen aus einem anderen Blickwinkel zu betrachten."
