IN RESIDENCY: LOUIS CLEMENT DA COSTA
Flux Laboratory will welcome from November 19th to November 30th the dancer and choreographer Louis Clément Da Costa who will work on its creation: Volutes.
Volutes, an ode to voluptuousness is the first part of a trilogy structured by mathematical systems and organized around three motives: beauty, violence and love.
In this hazy universe, the senses show their limits. The light is blinding, voluptuousness seizes an almost naked stage. The interpreter navigates freely in a system of choreographic loops, constantly renewing the tenderness of these gestures. Volutes is a perpetual fight against the violence of a light and sound environment as beautiful and cold as ice.
