HEAD - Piaget Young Talents Contest 2014
The Piaget Young Talents contest is held for the second consecutive year by Piaget and HEAD–Geneva as a support for next generation's design jewelry, watch and accessories. This competition comes within the scope of two workshops focusing on DNA Piaget, in watchmaking and jewelry design. The students who submitted the best projects will get the opportunity to work as interns at the design studio of Piaget.
HEAD–Geneva's students had been investigating the world of Piaget during two weeks in order to challenge the codes of the brand. They were asked to design a bold and entertaining concept for a woman's watch, or to imagine a men's watch for young and international clients.
Jewelery design students have also attempted to interpret the playful specific vocabulary of Piaget with a piece of jewelry, or the glamorous Hollywood line of fluidity and asymmetry with a finery.
The FLUX Laboratory will host the Piaget Young Talents Prize and Piaget will reward the best projects in watchmaking and jewelry design on November 25th, from 5pm in the presence of Philippe Léopold-Metzger, CEO of Piaget.
The exhibition of the students' designs will be held from November 25 to 28, Mo-Fri from 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 5pm.
