Europe Day - Freedom of Movement at the Acropolis

On the 9th of May, the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Greek Ministry of Interior, and the UNHCR, celebrate together the Day of Europe and cooperate by opening the doors of the Acropolis and its Museum to welcome refugees and migrants from the camps of Schisto and Elaionas, with the initiative of Flux Laboratory and Fluxum Foundation. Specialising in dance and living arts performances, it seemed appropriate for us to celebrate movement with a symbolic walk.

Στις 9 Μαῖου, το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού, το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών, και η Ύπατη Αρμοστεία, γιορτάζουν μαζί την Ημέρα της Ευρώπης και συνεργάζονται ανοίγοντας τις πόρτες της Ακρόπολης και του Μουσείου της σε πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες από τους καταυλισμούς Σχιστού και Ελαιώνα, με την πρωτοβουλία του Flux Laboratory και του Ιδρύματος Fluxum. Με εξειδίκευση τον χορό και τις ζωντανές τέχνες ήταν φυσικό να γιορτάσουμε την αέναη κίνηση με έναν συμβολικό περίπατο.
